Meet Our Middle School Team!
Catherine Broadhead, M.A., M.B.A., M.Ed.
Catherine Broadhead (Cat) earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Sport and Health Psychology from The Adler School of Psychology in Chicago. She is a Certified Consultant by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.
Throughout her life, Cat has been interested in leadership and intrigued by how emotions influence learning and performance. Cat majored in psychology at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio where she is an active volunteer. She earned her Master of Elementary Education from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College, has taught elementary school in public, private, and charter schools, and established a Gifted and Talented program in a charter school.
Cat completed the Leadership Focus Program as part of her MBA at Cornell University’s Johnson School. There, she worked for Cornell Outdoor Education’s Teambuilding Program and ran teambuilding and leadership programs on the ropes course.
Currently, Cat runs Summit Performance Consulting LLC, which provides sport psychology consulting, academic coaching, and tutoring services. She specializes in counseling adults and children in sports and high stress situations.
Cat likes to downhill ski, do yoga, play tennis, and run on the beach or in the woods.
Marissa Sibley, M.A., N.C.C., Registered Mental Health Intern
Marissa Sibley is a Registered Mental Health Intern and earned her degree in 2013 at Barry University in Miami, Fl. Marissa started her career with children when she began working as a teacher in 2009. Marissa continued teaching for four years at various private schools where she specialized in students from Pre-K to 3rd grade. From there she decided that she wanted to pursue counseling, so in 2010 Marissa enrolled at Barry University and received her masters in mental health counseling. During her time at Barry she interned as a middle school counselor at Highland Oaks middle school and also worked with the Honey Shine foundation as a group leader for at risk adolescent women. Marissa continued working with at risk adolescent girls when she moved up to Palm Beach in 2015 and signed on as a contract therapist at Center for Child Counseling. She started an all girls psycho-education group, which still continues today. These days you can find Marissa spending most of her time with her new baby son Cameron.

Jeremy Loomis, M.A. in Human Services, In Progress: M.S. Mental Health and Addictions Counseling
Jeremy Loomis is presently pursuing his masters in Counseling Psychology at Palm Beach Atlantic University. With an academic background in human services and writing, he has been developing domestic and international program materials for at-risk youth since 2011. The emphasis of his work is to draw people out of social isolation and into meaningful connection with others. Through mentorship, writing, and research, Jeremy’s desire is to see this generation develop a healthy interdependence with one another, rather than an unfulfilling dependence on substance and media.
