Maria Bertuzzelli has worked in marketing, event planning and corporate branding for most of her career. She has had the pleasure of being a stay at home mom for ten years where she ensured her daughters were getting the best education and assistance they needed. Maria is an advocate for the autism community and prides herself to being available to any families that just need some guidance or a person to speak to during their trying times. Maria constantly looks for opportunities to learn and grow so that she can bring new skills and perspective to work and personal life. She is meticulous about the details and has proven to be an outstanding event planner. Her welcoming nature, outgoing personality and networking abilities are all assets she can bring to Stand UP Foundation.
Mary G. Murphy is a recruiter for Career Source of the Research Coast, the state of Florida’s Workforce Board serving Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin Counties where she plays matchmaker for businesses and career seekers. Mary has also worked as a private client banker and as local television news producer in Miami. Mary wants to use her talent for relationship building to bring awareness to the Standup Up Foundation and its mission to empower teens to become our next generation of community leaders. Mary has two daughters. Grace is an English major at FAU and plans to become a writer. Scarlett is a nursing student at NYU and starting pitcher on the varsity softball team. Mary graduated from the University of Florida where she was a Delta Gamma sorority sister of fellow SUF board member Carrie Hanna. She is also a Sustaining Member of Junior League of Martin County.

Paul M Adams is a law partner with the law firm of Schwed, Adams, Sobel and McGinley P.A. and is a Board Certified Civil trial Lawyer. Paul has spent the past 25 years working throughout South Florida and has dedicated the majority of his professional career to helping families and individuals who have suffered physical and emotional injuries as a result of a family member passing away or significantly injured. Paul is a third-generation attorney whose family has had a long history of helping families throughout the state for over 80 years. He was born in Palm Beach County and currently lives with his wife raising his family in the area and has seen a lot of changes within the community. As a father of a daughter in Women Making Waves he has seen a profound impact this organization has had on his daughter in addressing the issues facing young children in our community. He is extremely excited to bring his passion for helping people to the Standup Foundation so that it can reach more children and families. Paul previously sat on another Board of Directors for a local nonprofit organization and will bring that experienced to the Stand Up Foundation.
Dr. John McLean lives in Jupiter with his wife, Sandy, and three children. All of his children are involved in the Stand-Up Foundation. He is the owner and clinic director at Healthier U Jupiter Inc., a chiropractic and wellness center. He is a chiropractor that focuses his practice on chronic knee, shoulder and back pain. He and his wife, Dr. Sandy, have devoted much of their time educating on the subject of natural health and weight loss. After high school Dr. John worked as a fishing guide in Alaska, and fell in love with fishing flying. His love of flying lead to his first career in aviation, which began as a civilian flight instructor and eventually to the U.S. Army where he served as a UH-60 (Blackhawk) pilot. After serving in the US Army as a helicopter pilot and officer, he flew for a trauma center in the state of Minnesota. After several years of flying he realized that he enjoyed the healthcare field and began a career change to become a doctor of chiropractic. Now Dr. John has been in private practice for 18 years. He strives each day to transform lives, create outrageous health for the families he serves. He is a contributing member of Concerned Parents of Youth Athletes (CPOYA), Florida Chiropractic Assoc., and Veterans Business Assoc.

Joanna Kaiser counts it a blessing and privilege to be a wife to supportive husband, Mark, and a stay-at-home-mom. For 18 years she has been in leadership and actively involved in her son’s schools and extra-curriculars, as well as church and community activities. She has two wonderful sons, Jimmy and Jack, who are founding members of Men Moving Mountains. She is currently wrapping up her role as stay-at-home-mom and is working on her Masters of Science in Counseling, with a dual track in Mental Health and Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is a native Floridian with a love of travel. After completing a double major in Psychology and Leisure Services at Florida State University she went on to be a flight attendant at Delta Airlines. Her passion is now to encourage others to achieve their optimal mental and emotional health through authentic communication. She is delighted to join the Stand Up Foundation and invest in the future of this dynamic organization.
Tarah Grauer is a Registered Dental Hygienist receiving her Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from St Petersburg College. She is currently pursuing a Master in Health Administration at Florida Atlantic University while concentrating in Nonprofit Leadership at University of Florida. She has worked with Martin County Head Start program for adolescent dental preventative care and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Martin County as a mentor. She participates with the Belize Dental Mission Project which is a voluntary missionary organization providing a vast number of charitable dental services. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Dental Hygiene Association, Florida Public Health Institute, and Palm Beach Oral Health Coalition. Tarah is excited to bring her enthusiasm for health and knowledge to the Stand UP Foundation. As a wife and mother to a young daughter, she has the passion to share her experiences and encourage positive enlightening growth.
